How is that possible?

Endowed scholarship funds are invested. Every year, a part of the investment’s return is used for financial aid, and the rest is added to the original amount to keep the fund’s value up. 

This goes on forever — for as long as LAU exists. And over time, people can keep contributing to make the fund even more impactful!

Your participation matters

We invite you to contribute $20 — or any amount you can. Every contribution is an act of solidarity, helping deserving students overcome financial hurdles.

Double your impact!

Thanks to a matching gift from Board of Trustees Chairman Philip Stoltzfus, every $1 you contribute will be worth $2. If the class of 2025 raises $12,500, Mr. Stoltzfus will match that with an equal amount, reaching the minimum needed to establish an endowed fund!

Recognition for your generosity

To recognize your participation, all class of 2025 donors will appear listed on a permanent webpage, and the Graduating Class Endowed Scholarship and its donors will be featured in LAU’s Annual Report.
